Here’s a riddle: What’s fake? What’s real? What’s a little bit of both? Answer: The poems we’ll generate in this workshop. Sometimes, we don’t know what we know. Other times, we make stuff up as we go along. Sometimes, we mire ourselves in the serious work and the serious content that make up our poems. Other times, not so much. In today’s workshop, we’ll use models from Tony Hoagland, Kurtis Lamkin, and Lisel Muller, to generate our own fact-based, facts-twisted poems.
This workshop is appropriate for poets of all levels of experience.
Participants should bring pen, paper, or computer to write with.
