North River Arts Society’s 49th Annual Festival of the Arts is returning this Memorial Day Weekend—Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24, 2026 - in the heart of Marshfield Hills. This beloved festival is the cornerstone of our annual fundraising efforts and a vibrant celebration of the arts. We bring together a diverse showcase of fine art, sculpture, photography, and artisan crafts, along with live music, theatrical performances, children’s activities, local food trucks, street performers, and our spectacular giant puppet parade. In 2025, more than 5,000 festival-goers gathered to support local artists and celebrate creativity. It was a truly inspiring weekend that highlighted the power of the arts to bring people together. As a regional arts association, North River Arts Society serves communities across Massachusetts, drawing artists and audiences from as far north as Gloucester and as far south as the Cape. Year-round, we are dedicated to enriching our community through classes for adults and youth, workshops, exhibitions, and professional development opportunities for artists. We are proud to partner with local schools, organizations, and foundations to provide art camps, after-school programs, youth art exhibits, scholarships, and free family workshops—ensuring that young artists have access to creative opportunities regardless of financial barriers. Your generosity helps make the Festival possible and strengthens our ability to keep the arts thriving at North River for years to come.
